• 1 Kg. mussels (half shell)
• 125 g. butter
• 100 cc. white wine
• 200 g. parmesan cheese
• Cream (optional)
• Black pepper
Pour white wine in a bowl and dissolve the salt. Add freshly ground black pepper and cut the butter into
small chunks. If you wish, you can add cream.
Place the half shell mussels over in a roasting tin with a bed of salt underneath for stability. Pour the parmesan base over the mussels. Finally, add the grated cheese and put inside the oven, grill until cheese melts.
