Recipe for six
· 36 mussels (washed)
· 1 onion (finely chopped)
· 4 tomatoes (chopped and without seeds)
· 4 slices of toasted bread
· 1 glass of shnapps
· 2 garlic cloves
· 1 cinamon stick
· Ground pepper
· Oil, parsley, salt
In a pot with water, put the mussels to a boil. Once they opened, remove them and remove the shells.
Reserve. In a mortar, grind the cloves of garlic, cinnamon, parsley and pepper and reserve. In another pot with oil, fry the onion and add the tomatoes together.
Let cook a few minutes and pour the water where the mussels were boiled, adding more if necessary.
Once boiling, add the slices of toasted bread and stir until they are undone.
Then mix the mussels with the reserved ground mix, the schnapps and pepper to taste.
